SHRINE OF JESUS THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE

This is the church of our choice. Fortunately(or was it destiny?), there was this slot that was still open for our chosen wedding day.
Post-Wedding : We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful church. The size and location of the place helped in the solemnity of our wedding ceremony. I really didn't miss not having a long aisle to walk down on. |

RECEPTION
PUERTA REAL GARDENS
Intramuros, Manila
After looking at a number of garden venues (like Coconut Palace, Orchidarium, etc.) we narrowed it down between Baluarte de San Diego and Puerta Real. At first, Baluarte seemed the better choice. However, because of the garden's shape and divisions, which ruled out the possibility of letting the guests seated at some parts of the garden to get a good view of the proceedings, Puerta Real will be the place of our celebration.
Post-Wedding : Since I could'nt have the garden wedding, we opted for a garden reception instead and our prayers and positive thinking paid off in the end. The place was really great for the reception both for the size of the place (our guests didn't have to wrestle for space) and the romantic setting (which of course was enhanced by our wonderful caterer).

We learned of Josiah's catering at a bridal fair at SM Megamall last February 2001. There we met Wini, Josiah's banquet manager. After letting her lecture us about their extraordinary catering service and wedding package, showing us a couple of their reception set-ups, and meeting with the lovely owners Jhet & Boyet Versoza, we were convinced that they can help make our celebration a very memorable one. Aside from the food, they will be doing all the table arrangements and venue decorations and provide us with our wedding cake.
Post-Wedding : We were truly happy with Jhet & Co's service. The food was great and the decors were spectacular! They were able to give us what we want with the set-up (to make the place very romantic, we requested a lot of tivoli lights and soft fabrics for the tents) and more!

DESIGNER
EDWARD TENG

He is very easy to talk to and most importantly, he's very good at what he does. Aside from weaving Mich's gown and Fritz' barong, he will also craft the gowns and barongs of our beloved parents and our entourage (excluding the ninongs and ninangs).
Post-Wedding : I really loved my gown, I like the simplicity of the handpaint and the dress fitted me perfectly (there were only a few minor adjustments). Not to mention, everyone loved it too. A lot of the guests also complimented our color motiff for the entourage. |

We met Glen at the bridal fair at the Mandarin Oriental last February 2001. We basically liked what we saw there and arranged a meeting with him to see more of his work and discuss what packages he offered. Right afer the meeting we already knew that we had found our photographer. Aside from the wedding event pics, we will also have our pre-nuptial pictures taken by Glen.
Post-Wedding : What can we say? we loved our photos!!! :) They couldn't have captured our wedding any better and we didn't even notice them for most of the shots. We can't wait to see the wedding video. |

STRINGS

Phil will provide the music at the church and at the reception. They will also accompany those who will sing at the reception.
Post-Wedding : We've got nothing but thumbs up for Phil Vera and his group. All the music that we instructed them to play at the wedding was played and even when we forgot to discuss with him the repertoire for the reception including songs to avoid, we need not have worried, the music was excellent.

FLOWERS

The flowers for the bride, maid of honor, bridesmaids and secondary sponsors is included in the package with our designer. While the flowers for the parents, principal sponsors, car bouquet, bouquet toss, and the unity candle arrangement will be from Tina Berin of Final Touch, she is the offical florist of Shrine of Jesus.
Post-Wedding : Baby of Mely Roy Flower Shop -- She supplied my wedding bouquet (shown on the left) and the bouquets of my entourage. This was actually a last minute thing because of some mix-up with my designer. The picture shown on the left is my bridal bouquet.
Tina Berin of Final Touch -- She supplied the flowers for the parents, ninangs, grandmother, unity candle arrangement, car, and flower offerings.
